You can also fly to La Paz, which is an hour away from Todos Santos. However, flights to Cabo tend to be cheaper.

La Bohemia is a great place to stay in Todos Santos. Located in the heart of the city, the landscaping is amazing. Everywhere you turn it’s like an Instagram feed. It has a nice terrace to hang out by the pool where they serve breakfast in the morning (the pancakes they serve are some of the best I’ve ever had!) I recommend splurging on the Haye’s Suite, with King and Queen beds, a kitchen, and a balcony overlooking the pool and surroundings like jungles.

If you’re traveling on a budget and like the social atmosphere of a hostel, Todos Santos Hostel is a good choice. You have the option of a bed, a private room or a private glamping tent. The hostel has a good place to sleep, with a nice terrace. Sitting on the balcony was my favorite part of staying here! There’s a nice bar out front, live jazz music some nights, and even a small store in the front yard! The only downside is that this hostel is on the outskirts of the city, so it’s a bit far (about 10-15 minutes walk) from the center.

If you rent a car, it’s very easy to park on the street wherever you want. If you don’t have a car, I recommend staying in the city. From there you can go to all the bars, restaurants, shops and restaurants. If you want to go to the beach, you can hire a cheap taxi (about 10 minutes from the city to the beach). There is no Uber in Todos Santos.

Day Trips From Los Cabos: Todos Santos

There are so many fun things to do in Todos Santos! I recommend staying at least 2-3 days to get the most out of it.

One of the first things you should do when you arrive in Todos Santos is to walk around town and explore the area. Expect to find beautiful buildings, colorful buildings, beautiful malls and small street markets. To find the beautiful street with the colorful prayer flags shown above, enter “Caffe Todos Santos” into your GPS (this cafe is also a great place for breakfast – more on that later!).

If you’re looking for a traditional Mexican market, check out the area near Hotel California. This market has another covered part, where there are sellers of blankets, clothes, bags, clothes, etc.

Cafe Todos Santos – on a colorful street with prayer flags. They have a few outside tables in the front, but if you go inside and in the back, you’ll find nice places to sit. The breakfast here is really good!

Todos Santos Plaza

La Generala Restaurant – This place has the best breakfast buffet I’ve ever had. I usually shy away from buffets, but a local recommended this place to me and I knew I had to try it. They have every Mexican breakfast you can think of, as well as some lunch items. Next to the buffet table is a woman making tortillas by hand. And what makes this place even better is that it’s only about $7 per person. It’s very nice!

Los Adobes – This place is right in the center of town and has the best garlic garden right next to the outdoor patio! Good atmosphere and delicious food.

Jazamango – This farm to table restaurant is excellent. It’s a bit pricey, but this cooking experience is worth it. Of course, Brussels sprouts and fish of the day! The fish melts in your mouth.

Green Room – This place is 15 minutes from the city center but worth the trip. The restaurant is reached by a path surrounded by trees and green lights. The restaurant itself is on the beach. Know the letter. Your feet are in the sand while you are at your desk! They also have delicious cocktails and a bonfire on the beach to enjoy after your meal.

Looking For Your Next Blissful Vacation? It Starts In Todos Santos, Mexico

One of my favorite things to do in Todos Santos is to go to Punta Lobos! To get there, park at Hotel San Cristobal (about 10 minutes from town) and walk from the beach towards the cemetery. Here you will find places that surround the mountain sides. This road does not have many signs, but the road is very clear. I recommend going during golden hour for the best light. Don’t forget to bring enough water!

The trip is about 4 kilometers. When you reach the top, you’ll be rewarded with sweeping views of the Pacific Ocean! You can walk to the beach or enjoy the view from the top. You might even see whales if you’re there in winter!

Todos Santos Beach is a peaceful dream. When we went to the beach there, no one was on the sand – we had our own spot! I highly recommend visiting El Faro Beach Club. If you stay at La Bohemia, you get free access to the beach (if not, it’s $20 per person). Here they have a beautiful swimming pool with a floating area overlooking the beach, a large terrace with a seating area and cool sunbeds on the sand (party atmosphere, but without the crowds!) There is also a spa center within the hotel. If you want to really relax with a massage.

If you like to swim – you’re in luck! There are other great surfing spots nearby. The best spots for surfing are Playa Los Cerritos and Playa San Perito. There are surf shops near both places if you want to rent a board or wetsuit, or learn!

Best Things To Do In Cabo San Lucas

If you’re in Todos Santos from December to February, one of the best things to do is to release baby turtles into the sea with the non-profit organization Tortugueros Las Playitas. This event takes place most nights this season and is free!

One of my favorite things to do in Todos Santos (or any city I visit) is to have a drink at a rooftop bar and enjoy the view! One of the best places to do this in Todos Santos is on the rooftop of Hotel Guaycura. Expensive drinks, but worth it! If you’re planning to visit, this Todos Santos, Baja California Sur guide will help you decide where to eat, where to sleep, where to shop, and where to go to the beach.

Todos Santos has a magical feel. Although tourists have been visiting Todos Santos for years, there is something about it that seems unfamiliar. I don’t want to call it “Mexico’s best kept secret” because there are many people – including pilots, surfers and artists – who know and love Todos Santos.

I’m not the only one who feels the magic of Todos Santos. The city of Todos Santos was designated a “pueblo mágico” – magical village – by Mexico’s tourism secretary in 2006. The designation is reserved for Mexican cities that stand out for things like natural beauty and cultural richness. , and food.

What To Do In Todos Santos Mexico

A few years ago, a large construction contractor tried to expand into Todos Santos and establish it as a large health center. The locals we met on our trip told us that many people in the village were against this big project. When we visited, the project was not completed. So, for now, Todos Santos remains a sleepy and quiet place.

I’ve heard many people refer to Todos Santos as the “West Coast Party”. I think that’s an unfair comparison. Don’t get me wrong – I love Tulum. But Todos Santos has a completely free spirit.

The atmosphere of Todos Santos is bohemian, but less creative. The Todos Santos area is also wild – huge saguaro cacti grow in abundance, and the beach there seems empty.
