Best Hotels In Ibiza Old Town

There are only three things that most tourists want when they visit Ibiza; Sun, beaches and nightlife. This Spanish island in the Mediterranean is famous as a jet set destination and offers some of the hottest non-stop parties in the world. There are plenty of hotel options – from DJ-beat beachside settings to contemporary Old Town buildings or quiet cliff-side villa hotels. All of them offer the most amazing views and are often filled with the rich and famous. With plenty of luxury options, here are the best hotels in Ibiza for 2019.

Hotel La Torre Del Canónigo ®, Ibiza, Spain

This property is one of my favorite hotels in the world. Rent a car and drive across the island on quiet winding roads, through pine forests to the small and remote resort of San Miguel. Upon arrival you will see an unassuming whitewashed building, set on the ocean front in the middle of a preserved natural park, 600 feet above sea level. This hotel is truly one of the most luxurious spas and hotels on the island.

The resort is spread over five floors on a spectacular cliff. All of its 77 rooms and suites, its restaurants and spacious private terraces offer spectacular views over the stunning turquoise waters of the bay below. This side of Ibiza is still undeveloped with hotels that make you feel like you’re in a fairytale town. Contemporary, minimalist rooms have floor-to-ceiling windows – and Jacuzzi baths are perfectly positioned to soak up the stunning views.

However, it is the Cascades Suspendidas that are jaw-dropping, offering the most amazing outdoor thalassotherapy with a surreal view, with eight interconnected saltwater pools suspended on the side of a cliff.

This charming hotel was built in 1904 and is located in the heart of the historic Fourth Wall of Dalt Vila. The area is known for its stunning scenery and rich history, and the surrounding 16th-century walls are a stunning display of Renaissance architecture.

The hotel’s 12 private rooms include an impressive grand suite, five additional rooms and six suites, all decorated with seven types of marble, green onyx and precious stones. Spend days by the outdoor pool and nights at the hotel’s popular Es Mirador restaurant, which specializes in avant-garde Mediterranean cuisine.

Yacht enthusiasts will love this modern hotel located in the heart of Ibiza: 38 rooms and suites that integrate the marine elements of the island with striped wooden yacht floors and stainless steel wall panels that imitate solar waves. And a panoramic overview of the port of Ibiza and Old Town is included at no extra cost.

The Penthouse Suite with its own dining terrace is one of the best suites on the island. Each bathroom is beautifully designed with Carrara marble and wooden details and is equipped with its own sink, rain shower, and each room has one or two private balconies, as well as preserved local art. When you’re not lounging in the hotel’s Instagram-worthy pool, take a day trip on the hotel’s 60-foot boat with captain and crew, or enjoy the hotel’s two signature restaurants, including an izakaya for contemporary Asian cuisine and The Butcher for fancy burgers. . . .

Established in 1933, it was the first hotel on the island and is now part of the Hilton Curio Collection. With a neo-colonial style facade and a contemporary interior, the hotel is in the heart of the city, next to the port.
